Greetings from the Artic Circle (almost) !

My name is Markku and I found a link to this site from the POTN Forum. I was seeking info of San Diego and Los Angeles region, cause I'm in a happy situation to be spending two weeks, long waited vacation over there!

My wife and I are staying in LA, in Escondido and at Solana Beach area and naturally will be visiting San Diego several times!

From this forum I have found great info concerning the area and places to visit with my camera. Hopefully I can put some photos over here for you to look at after our journey or maybe even while in the area, if I get my laptop with me and online somewhere!

I've been into photography for over 30 years, bought my first SLR in '76 (Canon Ftb), now I'm shooting mainly with my 20D, no special field of interest, but birds, nature, lanscape for most.

San Diego, see You in two weeks time! Really looking for it,
