Hey, what do you guys think about starting a tradition of having all new members (in this case all members since the tradition hasn't started yet) post a photo of some specific subject? I did this on Flickr for the 5D group where new members must post a photo of a duck...any duck. So I posted a photo of a doll holding a rubber ducky. A whole bunch of people then joined in the post. We sure got some very interesting photos! How about starting a poll on what the subject should be? I think we can really learn from seeing the various posts - different interpretations of a subject. In fact....Legend has it that Canikodak, the ancient God of Photography will not unleash the full potential of your camera gear until you post a photo of [insert subject here] on this website....

Since we don't know what the [insert subject here] is, I'm not taking any chances so here's my first offering to Canikodak:



BTW, I shot this with a Russian made Tilt/Shift SuperRotator 90mm f/2.8 lens that I could not get decent photos from. The lens had very poor contrast and was very susceptible to flare...until this shot.
