For those unaware, the SD Photo Expo is an annual event. The first expo was held in December but the last two have been in early November. You can sign up on the site for updates when they put the site back up.

It was kind of sad not to see Monte there this year. I hung around John Woodward a little on Sunday. He is a really cool guy and has a firm grasp on lighting techniques (he is the big guy that took turns doing the Profoto demonstration with Hanson Fong.)

I had a good time playing with gear and talking with photographers and I got a great deal on an i1 Display 2. At the first expo people there got to try out the D200 before it came out and this year it was no different with the D300 and D3.

Monte was great last year, Learned allot from him. What was really cool is he talked to everybody.

Nick and I forgot about this years event or we would've had another table set up there like last year.
