Has anybody ever been to the San Diego Photo Expo? Is it worth going to? Anybody going? What is there to expect from this expo?

Photo Expo is Awesome!

The seminars have tons of great info, The vendors have allot of hands on items to play with too.

We had a booth setup one year, I totally forgot about this. Ill be contacting them and see about setting up again.

This is where I had met the Late Monte Zucker and was able to pick his brain a lil.

I just received an advertsing booklet from the Photo Expo. I can't wait, Don Gale whom I idolize as a great nature photographer is doing a small workshop, Eddie Tapp is back as is Hanson Fong. There is about 11 different pros.

This expo is where I learned of this site 2 years ago and met Monte Zucker when he and Eddie tapp where doing a workshop on portraiture and some Photoshop. Even though we have the lens workshop on Nov. 8th go right from there to the Expo if you can!

There are some interesting seminars, and lots to see in the trade show.....I'll miss Monte, he was one of the best.....I visited his studio years ago, great photog and great sense of humor. Actually watched him work at a wedding I was a guest at, two local photogs got married and Monte came out to do the wedding......ton of fun, we'll miss him.

Monte...the portrait king! I'll try to set up the workshop to start early and finish before lunch so people can still attend the photo show.

I went to the expo today and enjoyed it. Sat through a short class on printing and learned a lot. My big disappointment was after looking at a map of the expo, I found the booth for the SDPF. I went over and... it wasn't there. Bummer as I was looking forward to meeting and greeting.

Gonna pop in tomorrow afternoon. Will there be a booth? (Isn't that what Lincoln said?)

Any good deals there??

My friend's brother bought a G10 for $489. I bought a Delkin spare battery for my Canon for $20 and a 512mb card for my Blackberry for $3.


No tax on almost everything.
