| Found some bulk film for cheap, in loader... How do I figure out what it is and what to do with it? Should I load up some and give it to a mini-lab, or try it in b&w chems first? Whatchoo guys think?

| Re: Found some bulk film for cheap, in loader... Most color films will develop in B&W—as far as I understand it, color film is specially-sensitized B&W film with dye-couplers and/or dye-clouds. Plus, if you develop some of the film as B&W, you might still be able to read any special encoding on the edge of the film. Yay Mystery Film! |
