Stuff about me ??

I picked up photography from my dad when I was in junior high school using his Argus C-3 35mm rangefinder camera. Now thirty years plus later, I capture digital imagery and greatly enjoy sharing these images with family and friends via my homemade postcards. In this age of instant everything, the postcard process slows me down and gets me thinking of others and sharing a few thoughts along with my photography.

My camera gear is either with me or is near me, the entire day. I like to be able to capture what I see. If I don't have my camera close at hand, I think I will miss a photo op, or what I call a "Kodak Moment".

Subject matter varies, but railroad environments have been a vice for the past five or six years. I am currently trying to get out of that rut and expand my photographic horizons. The minimalist feature or assignment this week fits right into my style, or so I think. I will look at what I have photographed this past weekend and see what I can contribute to that thread.

I have a website, with a link in my signature below. I also have a few ProShows on the photodex.com website. I participate on several forums relating to railroad photography, but am eager to see what your forum is all about...
