Old Shep---a new person
I am a retired Navy photojournalist and for a short period in my 20 year Navy career was a SEAL. Upon retirement in 1982 I wound up a photographer for the OLD El Cajon DAILY CALIFORNIAN -- when it was a REAL newspaper. I quit and went to work as a contract combat photojournalist/photographer for the Air Force at the now closed Norton AFB in San Bernardino. I curerently work for the state of Calif's. Disability Insurance office in Mira Mesa. I only shoot for pleasure now, as a hobby. No stress, etc. I have been a Nikon man for over 50 years. When I started digital, I had a Canon G-1, then a 10D, then a 20D. But Nikon's D-200 with its 18-200 VR ED lens allowed me to carry FAR less weight and the images were MUCH better. I currently own the D-200, 18-200, 105 Macro, and the 80-400 Sigma.
Regards to all! SHEP
