I have been on here for a while now and just realized that I have never introduced myself...

I am a wife of Philip and a mother of two crazy girls: Hannah and Mackenzie
I have been taking pictures since I was a kid with my dad's old Minolta. Oldie but a goodie.
I went to school to become a teacher and decided not to do that and then had a bunch of jobs. And then two years ago I started thinking...wouldn't it be cool to be a photographer. I had always thought about it, but never really was brave enough to try it. I was working for my church at the time and getting really burned out, and I also have a friend who is a mom and loves to take pictures, so we just decided to do it. It seemed less threatening to do it with a friend I guess. I quit my job and we started "Sweet Pea Photography" Nov of 2005 and we love it!!! We specialize in family, children, baby & maternity photography.

I want to get into some different types of photography and want to make this my career. I would like to start doing weddings this year (so any advice is welcome) and just whatever I can get my hands on really!!! It's very compatible with being a mom, because I can make my own hours and I am constantly taking pics of my kiddos.

I also write music and sing and I am really invovled in my church and I love love love my family!! Well there is just a little snap shot of my life right now. And as you can tell by now I take full advantage of any link to the outside world Staying at home is great, but can also make ya stir crazy (especially on rainy days)
