Hey there, native San Diegan here. I've been interested in art in general since I was a young 'un. I took an imaging class back when I was at SDSU and have been interested in photography ever since (though I haven't gotten too in depth with it again until recently). Back in college I used an old Pentax SLR and we took B&W photos and developed them in the class' darkroom. I remember buying film, photo paper and developing fluids for that class at the old Cousin's Warehouse. I got back into photography a couple years ago when I bought my 20D and finally feel like I'm getting decent results. I feel like I've had to re-learn everything and, while frustrating at times, it has been fun in the process.

I hope to learn tricks and techniques from some of you more seasoned photographers and hopefully find some hidden spots around our fair city to take great shots.
