Monsoon in Arizona, Sept 1st 2007 Lightning Storm
After learning about a storm brewing in Arizona I decided to skip Ocotillo Wells and drive to my uncles house and wait to see what was going to happen. I was glad that I did as the shots I got were my first of this kind. The Monsoon lasted over 2 hours of nonstop thunder clapping and ligthing flashes. Most of my shots looked like daytime due to the consitency of lightning. I took some video and will try to convert it so you can see for yourself how crazy the monsoon was. Unfortunately my Video Camera started to act up, Being fairly new I think the storm or humidity had something to do with it.
