Surfing photos

Only a few surfing photos on these forums, so here's my contributions

I dig the framing on the second shot, Im used to seeing disappearing horizons, not city scape. Good Job!

Nice shots. Only a personal preference here... I think a slight contrast boost would be good. Cityscape looks good on #2.

I guess the cityscape is cool; I'm prefering number three for the composition and freezing of motion.

Nice surfing shots!! As you can imagine, there is very little surfing here in Minnesota.

I agree with everyone on the angle of the shot (getting the city in the background). It really makes the shot (IMO).

Dumb question but did you go out in the water to get these?

Also, was this in La Jolla by chance?

I was about knee-high in the water haha. If i had a longer lens it would have been much nicer to stay on the shore =)

These shots were taken at Black's Beach which is located a little bit north of La Jolla.
